RATION DISTRIBUTION-9

Introduction

Established in 2020 and registered with the Government of Sindh in 2021 (Reg. No. SW(SGR)VA-20), the Roze Dhani Community Organization (RDCO) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to uplifting vulnerable populations in District Sanghar, Sindh. Its governance structure uniquely blends a locally representative general body of native residents with experienced NGO professionals on its Board of Directors, ensuring strong community ownership alongside robust institutional capacity.

RDCO drives sustainable development across several integrated sectors, including installing rural handpumps and solar-powered desert water systems to secure equitable water access. These efforts are paired with hygiene and disease-prevention initiatives to improve public health. Furthermore, the organization actively boosts school enrollment and reduces dropout rates through community-based education programs, provides dignity-based welfare and dowry assistance to ultra-poor households, and delivers emergency shelter relief to families affected by disasters such as wildfires.

Environmental sustainability remains a cross-cutting priority throughout RDCO’s operations, actively promoted through widespread tree plantation drives and the strategic transition to solar energy solutions.

RDCO’s General Body comprises 15 members and is led by Mr. Iqbal, President. The organization has five office bearers with a strong understanding of community development issues and the key principles of rural development.
